Forum

During the period from 1 to 2 July 2009 Saint-Petersburg will host the IX International Forum and Exhibition “POCHTOVAYA TROIKA – 2009”.

The Forum will be attended by representatives of the Universal Postal Union, the Association of European Public Postal Operators PostEurop, national postal administrations and operators, postal technologies developers and postal equipment manufacturers, Russian governmental authorities and business communities.

The Forum is aimed to find effective ways of postal operator’s evolvement amid new conditions and to elaborate new mechanisms of cooperation between representatives of the postal market.

Postal communication is an integrated part of every country infrastructure, of its political, economic and social life. The key factors of successful development of the global postal industry are coordination and comprehensive cooperation between international postal operators within the framework of such Forum.

For the 16 years history the Forum “POCHTOVAYA TROIKA” has become one of the leading events of the world postal industry.

This year Forum will offer an opportunity to discuss up-to-date issues of postal industry development amid the world economic crisis. An important role of the national and international institutes in overcoming the crisis, innovative services, effective infrastructural transformation of postal operators and coordination are also to be discussed.

During the Forum the exhibition demonstrating current and perspective postal technologies and facilities as well as achievements in various spheres of postal business will be held. The exhibition will undoubtedly make significant contribution to further development of postal industry.
