I am sincerely glad to host such a representative forum here in Russia, in St. Petersburg timed to the 150th anniversary of the first Russian State postage stamp issue.

Despite appearance of new info-communication facilities the postage stamp still retains its cultural and historical value. I am convinced that "St. Petersburg 2007" will become a prominent event presenting the guests with an opportunity to get acquainted with some unique exhibits, promote international cooperation in the humanitarian field and develop business and friendly relations. I wish you success, prosperity and happiness.
